Christian Knott joined Alligator Energy as General Manager – Approvals and Sustainability in September 2025, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in environmental compliance, sustainability leadership, and regulatory approvals across the resources, energy, and industrial sectors.

Christian has led environmental and rehabilitation programs for uranium operations in South Australia, delivering regulatory approvals, statutory reporting, closure planning, and ESG integration. Christian has successfully guided submissions under diverse regulatory frameworks, established and managed rehabilitation programs that reduced environmental liabilities, and implemented sustainability reporting systems that enhanced transparency and performance. His work consistently balances operational performance with long-term closure and rehabilitation goals, achieving positive outcomes for both regulators and operations.

Alongside his technical expertise, Christian brings proven leadership experience, having managed multidisciplinary teams and contributed to strategic planning, succession development, and organisational alignment. He has also played a key role in embedding ESG considerations into business planning, ensuring that sustainability objectives are integrated with broader operational priorities.
